The 2016 EKFT Sailfish Smackdown was definitely the most action packed tournament to date. Here are the results from this Battle in the Bahamas:

1ST - goes to Joe Kraatz earning him the $10,000.00 donated by main sponsors FishBrain and Turbo USA and a gorgeous Global Fish Mount Trophy. Kraatz had an astonishing 72.9 lbs of fish weighed in over the two day tournament.

2nd - Brandon Nodal with his total weight of 54.8lbs winning a Hobie Limited Edition Outback (ONLY 500 MADE WORTH $3,400.00) from main sponsor Nautical Ventures and a Plaque from Global along with COSTA Glasses

3rd - Canadian native Brian Arnold with his massive 40.2 lb kingfish he took home $2,000.00 from Turbo USA and a Plaque from Global as well as COSTA Glasses

4th - goes to Nick Weber a first time offshore angler that brought in a record breaking 39.1 lb Grouper on day one of competition earning him $1,500.00 from Turbo USA and a Plaque from Global

5th - was Adam Fisk a seasoned angler sponsored by Nautical Ventures. Fisk weighed in a total of 33.9 lbs and he won a $1,000.00 MEGA COSTA DEL MAR prize pack

6th - goes to Dustin Service earning him a Hobie Livewell XL worth $419.00 with his total combined weight of 27.4lbs

DIVISIONS:

YAKATTACK WAHOO DIVISION - $500.00 goes to Colan Bukowski with his nice size Wahoo tipping the scale at just under 20lbs

DOLPHIN DIVISION - Derrick Benton winns this division with his beautiful 17.6 lb Dolphin

TRASH CAN SLAM - John McKroid takes home this popular prize winning a Custom Trash Can Trophy made by Global Fish Mounts and COSTA Glasses
