2024 Sailfish 226 DC Dual Console - Walkthrough Boat Tour!

Published January 9th, 2024 by Bernardo

Join Boat Trader and boat reviewer Marilyn DeMartini for a quick walkthrough tour of a Sailfish 226 DC powered by a single 200HP Mercury outboard engine. A family-friendly cruiser that is fishing-friendly with livewell and fishing features along with comfortable seating. She also has a small enclosed head and lockable rod storage that can double as a watertoy storage space as well as a comfy bow area with a removable table for dining. She is an ideal entry point starter boat for new boaters and a great sand bar boat. The boat features Sailfish's Variable-Degree Stepped (VDS) hull, with a 24-degree entry angle for cutting through the waves and a 23 and 22-degree surface moving aft, allowing for stability and reduced friction. This vessel is easily trailerable with a 8'6" beam and a 23' overall length, and has a mere 1'6" draft making her great for shallow water as well. She weighs aproximately 5,150 pounds dry and can hold up to 108 gallons, with a retail price of around $100K+ depending on options and power package.
