The Margaritaville Cup standup paddleboard competition was held Saturday, Sept. 17, on the beachfront of Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort in Hollywood. The event featured a full-moon paddleboard session, races in various categories and demonstrations. 

The inaugural Margaritaville Cup is a full day of fun at the Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort on Saturday, September 17th with a pre-party on Friday evening at the 5 o'Clock Somewhere Bar & Grill on the Intracoastal Waterway across from the resort. Racers will compete for $10,000 in cash prizes in the elite division of the paddleboard race. There will be complimentary paddleboard storage for participants staying at the resort. A designated paddleboard drop-off area at the end of Johnson Street will be available the morning of the race. An awards party will be held at the  5 o’Clock Somewhere Bar & Grill on the Intracoastal Waterway across from the resort. Online registration is discounted and will be available until one week prior to the event. Race day registration based on availability, so register early to receive the best pricing and secure your spot! The Margaritaville Cup will be awarded to top male and female with the highest combined point total in all three races: Elite or Novice race; Sprint races; and the Co-ed relay race.
